an interesting read about being a minority in one of nyc’s specialized high schools. coming from bronx science myself, it’s interesting to see how stuy is so different where it seems people isolated by race. granted bronx science was like that to a degree, but i’ve never felt limited in an ethnicity sense.

To Be Black at Stuyvesant High

Rudi-Ann Miller is one of 40 blacks among the 3,295 students at New York’s Stuyvesant High School. The experience can be isolating, but she has had no regrets.
